FAQs

Practice Structure

We will practice twice per week. Each practice is 1.5-2 hours. Practices are similar to the tryouts; however with a little more intensity and attention to detail. Although winning is definitely one of our goals, player and team development is our main focus.

Practice Schedule

We design our practice schedules around coach and gym availability. It’s certainly difficult to

please everyone, but we typically come up with a schedule that works for most!

Game Schedule

Game schedules are designed by the league/tournament itself and out of our control. The leagues that we play in are Fieldhouse USA Grapevine Mills Mall or Metro Prep League in Frisco Schools. The tournaments we participate in are typically in the DFW Area, but Elite Teams will also travel out of the area and out of State at times.

Commitment

We REQUIRE players to commit to the full season. We are a year-round, season to season program. Players have the option to play on a team with us year-round, but are not under contract to commit to more than one season. You only pay during the season you are playing. Players that choose to leave our program BEFORE finishing their commitment for the season WILL be responsible for all seasonal fees.

Seasons

  • A season typically runs in line with the calendar seasons:

    • Summer Season:              June- August (3 month season)
    • Fall Season:                        September – November (3 month season)
    • Winter Season:                 December – February (3 month season)
    • Spring/Summer Season is combined for HS Teams (March-July)

Fee Schedule

Payment Plan Options:

  • Full Upfront Payment:
    • Take out the hassle of remembering to pay each month
  • Monthly Installments:
    • Set up payments each month to help budget for the season
    • Auto pay options available

Sibling Discounts: We no longer offer sibling discounts

Upon joining our program, you will receive an electronic invoice for the season’s fees in full (prorated if applicable), and you will have the option to pay your seasonal fees with a one-time payment in full or in monthly installments. You may pay via check/cash in person, online or we can set up an autopay- you can also make payments on our website before receiving your invoice. Your fee for the league (Fieldhouse USA or Metro Prep League) will be due upon registration, to the league provider.

Throughout the season, conflicts arise (injury, vacation, etc). Upon joining the team, you commit to the team’s schedule and the fees associated with that schedule in a bundled package. Unfortunately, there will be no discounts or refunds issued for missed games or tournaments.

Players must commit to at least a full season. Prior to the end of each season, you have an option to remain active or to discontinue. If you opt to withdraw or discontinue, we require that you provide written notice via email (accounts@highergoalsnow.com) at least 10 days before the end of the current season.
