Coach Mosby has been involved in youth basketball for over 25 years, with experience in both select and school basketball. He’s been a Head Coach at the Middle School level and the High School level for both boys and girls. His life has been dedicated to helping kids as Coach Mosby has been in education for almost 30 years. He currently serves as an Assistant Principal in Lewisville ISD.
He’s been with HG for 8 plus years and has primarily worked with the High School Girls Program. His teams are always disciplined and defensive minded. Coach Mosby is widely known as “one of the greatest teachers of defense in the state of Texas”. He contributes to the entire program by running defensive clinics and setting the foundation for the program on that side of the ball. His players are typically some of the best defenders on their HS Teams and have received lots of accolades over the years.
Coach Mosby is originally from Little Rock, Arkansas and is deep rooted in his faith and his family. He graduated from Philander Smith College and immediately went into the educational field. He loves to spend time with his wife and his two daughters in his free time.
The greatest thing that he gets from coaching is “TEACHING”. He loves to teach the fundamentals of the game and develop relationships with players and families.
