My name is Hayden James Sullins. I was born in Bedford Texas and attended school in North Richland Hills through Birdville Independent School District. I played Basketball all my years in school including several AAU teams in DFW. I played all 4 years at Birdville High school and earned academic all state honorable mention.
I attended University of North Texas from September 2001 through May 2025. My degree is a BBA in Sports Entertainment Management. During my time at UNT I was a team manager for the basketball team all 4 years. I was head student manager during the Fall of 2024 and the Spring of 2025. My responsibilities included interviewing and selecting new managers, managing equipment, rebounding for players, setting up venues for new recruit visits, and other on-court responsibilities during games at home and on the road.
Birdville High School, University of North Texas men’s basketball, and Higher Goals programs have all hired me to coach for their summer youth camps since my graduation in 2021.
During my time at UNT we earned West Division Championship in Men’s Basketball 2022. We also won The National Invitational Tournament Championship in Las Vegas March 2023. This was the first time in school history UNT men’s basketball ever won the NIT championship.
I am currently coaching for Higher Goals, teaching in DISD, and Lewisville ISD with the goal of coaching basketball next year.
